About * time, Barry!
Congratulations to Melody Barnes,
the Director-designate of the Domestic Policy Council. Currently Ms. Barnes is with Podesta's Center for American Progess, She was also the Chief Counsel to Sen. Ted Kennedy when he was on the Judiciary Committee ('95-'03).
This is a welcome acknowledgement to those of us left of President-Elect Obama that he intends to represent our aspirations for America.
She was also one of 2007's 10 Well Dressed Women in the Washingtonian.
Change you can believe in.
If you have the stomach for it, pop on over to G-Dub's Domestic Policy Council webpage and see the scant offerings from the Eternal Sunshine (War on Drugs) of the Spotless Mind (Faith Based Initiaves) etc. etc. I am expecting something meatier from Director Barnes.
* out of respect for the lady folk, I have omitted "teh profanity".
